Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is an advanced, minimally invasive professional cleaning method that ensures a healthier and more comfortable experience for our patients. Many of our patients describe it as feeling like a Spa treatment for the mouth. Unlike many other practices, we don’t charge extra for this service, it is included in our standard hygienist fees and dental plans.

What is Guided Biofilm Therapy?

GBT is a cutting-edge approach to preventive and therapeutic oral care. It removes harmful biofilm (plaque) using a combination of:
Disclosing Solution – Highlights biofilm for precise removal.
Airflow® Technology – A gentle mix of warm water, fine powder, and air to clean the teeth, gums, and implants.
Piezon® Ultrasonic Scaling – A pain-free way to remove tartar and deep-seated plaque.
